Pawpaw Cookies

1-1/3 cups pawpaw pulp
2-1/2 cups all-purpose flour
1 tsp baking powder
6 TBSP Butter, softened
¾ c. brown sugar, firmly packed
½ c. granulated sugar
1 egg
½ c. black walnuts

Sift together flour and baking powder and set aside.  Mix together pawpaw pulp, butter, brown sugar, granulated sugar, and the egg.  Add the flour mixture in thirds until well blended.  Stir in the black walnuts.

Note: batter will be thinner than would be expected for cookies

Bake at 375 degrees for 14 minutes
