Calystegia sepium - Hedge bindweed

Picture
This twining vine grows up to 10 feet.  Its leaves are 2 to 4 inches, long-petioled, triangular with sagittate or hastate bases.  The flowers are solitary white to rose-pink, funnelform, and 1.5 to 3 inches long.

This vine flowers from May to August.  It is frequent, and is found in thickets, roadsides, and disturbed areas.
