Cerastium Nutans - Nodding Chickweed/powderhorn

This flower grows from 20 to 25 inches tall.  The stem is weak and diffusely branched. The petals are longer than the calyx.  The flowers are nodding on stalks, and are curved upward like a powderhorn.

This plant flowers from March to June.  It is common, and is found in rich, moist soil.
