Arabis laevigata (Smooth Rockcress)
This plant grown to 40 inches tall. It is a smooth biennial. The stem leaves are from 2 to 6 inches long and are narrowly lanceolate, glaucous, sessile, and sometimes clasping. The basal leaves are toothed. The flower is greenish-white with 4 white petals to .25" long. The narrow fruits are up to 4 inches long, and are flat and widely spreading.
Smooth rockcress flowers from April to May. It is common, and is found in woods and on hillsides.
