Geranium maculatum (Wild Geranium/Spotted Cranesbill)
This flower grows from 1 to 2 feet tall. It has purple-pink, regular flowers in loose clusters of 2 to 5 at the ends of branches bearing a pair of deeply lobed (3 to 5 lobes) leaves. The fruit is elongated, with a beaked capsule, that splits into 5 upward-curving strips still united at the top.
