5-16-22 In memoriam: Mark A. Dunaway (Madbird) 1973 - 2022. It is with great sadness that I announce the passing of this talented and extraordinary man whom I had the privilege to call my husband and best friend. In his memory, I will take over managing The Biology Zone and will continue to expand its collection of educational information. I am an experienced naturalist who trained alongside Mark in the field, and will keep the site going with the help of other biologists who have agreed to help keep his vision of educating others alive to honor his memory.
