American Toad Ringtone
Description
This is a ringtone made from the call of the American Toad (Anaxyrus americanus) I recorded at the pond at my house. These toads are found in a variety of habitats and can be common backyard visitors. Their skin can change color based on the temperature and humidity as well as their stress level. The call of this stocky fellow is a soft, pleasant trill that can last as long as 20 seconds.
