Description

A BiologyZone Exclusive: This ringtone is made from a recording of a Red-shouldered Hawk (Buteo lineatus). This is a hawk of the woodlands rather than open fields and is, unfortunately, less common in some parts of its range than it was previously. Some say some of the calls of this bird sound a little bit like a puppy crying. Downloads are available for both Android (mp3) and Apple (m4r) phones. Click the file at the bottom of this page to hear a sample. The downloadable file will be available after you complete your purchase.

If you need help getting the ringtone into your phone, click the instructions button below or check out the following links on YouTube. Just copy and paste them into your browser. If you need help getting the ringtone into your phone, click on the button below for instructions. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND viewing the instructions prior to purchase, particularly if you are using an iPhone.
